So yeah, I finally decided to get back into my flash works, but when I started I came to realize I am still not very good at all... Apparently skills don't improve when you sit around being lazy all the time :). So I decided to do a bunch of shorts to try and get my feet back under me in flash, and in using a mouse to do art. It has been quite a long time after all. It will be a series of shorts called A Random Moment of Me, all based on true stories and things that have just randomly happened to me lately.

A Random Moment of Me Ep. 01 is pretty simple. When I sleep at night one of our cats likes to sleep with me from time to time and for some reason when he gets happy he wants to chew on your face. On occasion I am woken up by him biting the crap out of my nose... It's really unpleasant... So, that's basically what this is.

Done in Macromedia Flash with a mouse alone.

You should edit that voice, I wouldn't be whispering if my cat bit my nose in the middle of the night.

Also, you shouldn't be animating in 12fps and neither should you be overusing tweens. Fbf is always superior.

Eheh, you don't know me very well so it's kinda hard for you to realize that that is the voice I use when I get bit by my cat, especially when I'm half asleep :)... I have the vocal range of a rock... And I can't really do frame by frame, like I said I'm not all that good... I'm easing back into it. But I do agree that frame by frame is far superior if you've got the skill for it. I do however really appreciate the advice, maybe someday I'll be good enough to make use of it.

Yeah well you should do the voice act with a bit more expression though.
